Description

Palythoa, or button polyps as they are commonly referred, are very easy to take care of and are suitable for the beginning reef tank enthusiast. These Electric Blue Palys are very rare and sought after. They are similar to the Tubbs Blue Zoanthids but are found in small patches around Java in the Pacific and have a larger polyp size. Truly one of the beauties of the coral world.

Diet

Requires little to no supplemental feeding as they are mostly photosynthetic but will appreciate the occasional target feeding of planktivore foods and meaty foods chopped or blended finely. We recommend using Cyclopeeze as a supplemental food or try our Blue Zoo Mix which is rich in both Cyclopeeze and Golden Pearls.
