Curator's Note

These are comments from Matt Pedersen, the breeder of these amazing fish, "Small at this time, great for pairing in a male role with one of the older, larger siblings. This fish was separated at a very young age, and as a result it is near perfect. I feel the fish is very solid. As of 6/6/2014, this fish was 1.5 inches in total length. In July 2014, I noticed some recession of the fin tissue between one of the dorsal rays; not sure what caused/was causing/is causing that, but I did discover some electrical issues in this system and that could be the culprit. Updated photos are above so you can see the current look of the fish."
