Description

The filter sock is a quick and easy way to complete your overflow to your sump. It easily mounts onto most sock hangers. The 100 micron fiber traps excessive amounts of waste.

Tech Notes

Filter Socks need to be cleaned once every 1-2 weeks depending on how dirty the aquarium is. To clean them use a high-pressure water hose, lay them flat, and spray them inside and out. OR Try submersing them in bleach for several hours, and washing them in the washing machine. Allow them to dry completely, allowing all of the bleach to evaporate, and they are ready for use again. Filter Socks usually last 6-12 months, depending on usage and cleaning technique.
