Description

Red Ricordea Yuma is the rarest of all the Ricordeas, often refered to as Red Rose Ricordea Yuma. This specimen has an intense red coloration that will surely stand out in your aquarium and be a conversation piece when you have friends and family over. Red Ricordea Yuma requires higher lighting than most other mushrooms in order to increase growth and maintain its beautiful color. They can be maintained in "standard" or reef-type marine aquaria. All Ricordea Yuma usually are more bulbous and have better coloration than Ricordea Florida.

Red Ricordea Yuma will intensify with supplemental actinic and halide lighting. Fragments can be taken and grown separately. Allow room to expand.

Diet

Require little or no supplemental feedings, as they are photosynthetic. But you can supplement with reef foods, such as our Blue Zoo Mix or other small meaty foods.
