HI PAR LED Lighting
Ecoray
Brighter than Metal Halide
Beautiful shimmer effect
More cost effective than Metal Halide
Simple installation
Description
Brighter than Metal Halide, 500+ PAR at 24" from center
PAR value at center is approximately double that of 250W Metal Halide HQI. Specially designed lenses provide the best combination of high PAR and light spread. 150 PAR is generally considered to be the minimum lighting requirement for LPS corals. Do not be confused with many low PAR LED units in the market claiming large coverage area for similar or higher wattage, these units generally produce only 40-100 PAR at 24" from center.

Up to 100 lumens per watt
High Power 1 Watt LED produced up to 100 lumens per watt. We have intentionally selected the High Power 1 Watt over the 3 watts LED as they are much more efficient and save more energy.
Generates very little heat
You can touch the glass underneath while Ecoray 60 is operating. Try doing that with Metal Halide.
Save 50% energy while getting higher intensity
You can expect to save at least 50% energy over 250 W Metal Halide setups while getting higher intensity. Generally, replace one 250 W Metal halide with two Ecoray 60 to provide similar light spread.
Eliminate yearly Metal Halide bulb replacement + cooling costs
Metal Halide requires bulb replacements every 9 to 12 months at a cost of $60 to $80 per bulb. LED has a life expectancy of up to 50,000 hours. Additionally, due to the intense heat generated by Metal Halide units, a separate cooling system is usually required that consumes lots of energy.
All Aluminum Housing
High quality all aluminum housing is designed for long lasting installation over your reef aquarium.
Compact, Light Weight and Simple
A single 12 ft electric cord (or dual cords for the Ecoray 60D and 112D) comes out from the compact unit (see dimensions below). There is no separate and heavy ballast box. There is no on/off switch. Simply connect it to your own timer, then to the electrical outlet and enjoy.
Highly Competitive pricing
Our goal is not only to provide you with the best value in High PAR LED lighting but also to provide you with a much better value proposition than Metal Halide lighting.
