The Tank Boss Float Switch
Ultralife
  • Protect your main pump from running dry!
  • Excellent top-off system
  • Can be used for either 'low' or 'high' level operation
    Description
The Tank Boss AFS will handle a maximum load of 10 amps, and can operate in a low-water and/or high-water application.

The Tank Boss AFS operates on low 12 voltage and will handle a maximum load of 10 amps. It can be used as a single or dual float switch. This allows many configurations including operation in a low-water and/or high-water application. It can be configured to act as a float and backup (redundant safety) float. It can also be used as an A.T.O. (Auto Top Off) if combined with a timer.
    Operating instructions:
The float switch will handle a maxium load of 10 amps, and can operate in a 'low' water or 'high' water application.

    1. The float switch comes factory ready for 'low' water applications. If you will be using the float switch for 'high' water applications, remove the plastic retaining clip on end of shaft, remove the barrel float, turn barrel float updise down and reinstall barrel and clip. the Float switch is now ready for 'high' water usage.

    2. Mount float assembly into sump or water by means of the included scution cup assembly. Be sure not to allow the wires that come out of the top of the shaft or any of the electrical wires or the black junction box to be sumbersed into the water. These parts are not water-safe.

    3. The float assembly can be raised or lowered to achieve desired 'turn-on' or 'turn-off' point. Simply slide float body up or down without moving suction cup.

    4. Mount black junction box above water level where it is not possible to fall into water.

    5. Plug male cord into G.F.C.I. outlet, plug water pump into female cord. Your float switch is now operational, however, fine tuning may be necessary. This can be done by repeating step #3 until desired operation is achieved.
