Description

Nerite snails will spend most of their time on the aquarium glass consuming film algae. With sufficient food, they will reproduce and lay egg capsules on the glass walls of the aquarium. Nerite snails are mostly nocturnal and will show little to no activity during the daylight hours.

Diet

Will stay mostly on glass and hard surfaces eating film algae. Occasional offerings of Nori (seaweed) wrapped rocks placed near the glass are good for supplemental feedings if insufficient food source is unavailable.
